Beware of Forclosure Rescue Scams

Be very weary of anyone who says that they can painlessly rescue you from forclosure. Most of the time, these are scammers looking to let the property go to auction and take any extra profit that should go to the homeowner, acording to an article in the Inman News. Before signing any agreement to help you out of forclosure, contact the Consumer Protection Division in the Attorney General's Office for your state and check it out.
